Curriculum

St. John’s School content standards were designed to encourage the highest achievement of every student, by defining the knowledge, concepts, and skills that students should acquire at each level. The education policies followed comprise the school’s areas of standards, instructional materials, assessment, and accountability. The academic offerings cover the teaching learning processes and the sound pedagogical principles of Reading, Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Computer Education, Music, Art and Physical Education. The appropriate time allotments for the subjects are ensured to provide for the child’s development and growth academically, spiritually, socially, emotionally and aesthetically.

Extra-curricular offerings and services such as Academic Decathlon, Academic Tutoring, , Computer Club, Dance, Karate, Sports, Student Council, etc. that are held after school hours continue to make use of student time while they are still within the school premises. The students get to explore their physical, creativity, social, political, and career interests. They try to do something different that may bring them in contact with other students in other grade levels and who share similar interests and curiosity. The students become more involved and engaged in their varied learning experiences.
